# Can't end trigger check

This issue relates the the [Github Pull Request Builder](https://plugins.jenkins.io/ghprb/) plugin. The plugin is seeking adoption and also contains duplicate functionality in the more recent [Github Branch Source](https://plugins.jenkins.io/github-branch-source/) plugin.

When using this plugin unfortunately an error occurs because the connections to Github are cached on the controller. However once in a while, you might notice this issue in your console logs. Please read on for a resolution.

The above Null pointer exception in plugin logs. Stack trace describes the null pointer exception is from GitHubPRDescriptionEvent.

The fix is we uncheck the cache connection option and remove the Description match with pattern triggers (pictured above). Save the job and manually trigger RunGHPRTrigger. Add back the triggers and enable the cache connection flag and save the job.

Everything looks alright now from logs.
